The Jazz Posse is Marc Puricelli and David Kreimer. Add a bass player for a trio, add a drummer for a quartet. The book runs the same either way.
Piano

Marc Puricelli plays piano and writes. He's worked with Chet Baker, Sonny Fortune, B. B. King, and George Benson, and he's recorded with The JB Horns, Jack Wilkins, and Avery Sharpe.
On the vocal side: Etta James, Phyllis Hyman, Jean Carne, and Esther Satterfield, whose musical director he was for seven years.
He's recorded four albums of his own music for MusicMasters/BMG. He lives in Carrboro and plays piano in The Jazz Posse.
Vocals and saxophone
Durham, North Carolina
David Kreimer sings and plays saxophone. He also plays flute, clarinet, guitar, bass guitar, and piano, and he holds a BA in Jazz Composition and Arranging from Berklee College of Music.
He's worked as a studio musician on other people's records: Gene Corbin's Caribbean Moon over Pittsburgh, Spencer Brewer's Shadow Dancer, and The Pagan Hellcats' Wild Place, where he played bass guitar on every track.
Around the Triangle he also turns up with Tea Cup Gin and New Morning Jazz. He lives in Durham and sings and plays sax in The Jazz Posse.
Rick Keena has played bass with the band. Barbara Steel has sung with them. When a room wants a trio or a quartet, that is who the extra chairs tend to go to.
The book is 59 tunes and the band calls that partial. Standards, bossas, blues, soul, and some originals.
